Have you ever noticed how much “time” we spend thinking about time” It’s a lot! And, lately in my practice of being more mindful, I’ve noticed the words we all tend to use when describing time. We waste it, kill it, spend it, run out of it… hmmmm, makes you wonder why we don’t feel as if we have enough of it, doesn’t it?
Time is the most valuable resource we have on this planet. Just like the movie, Groundhog Day, when we have all the time in the world, we can learn anything we want to learn, do anything we want to do and Create to our heart’s desire to bring in far more resources.
The spoken word is also extremely powerful, that’s why it is the first line in the Bible and most religious texts. In the Beginning, there was the word and it was Go(o)d.
When we MIND something, it means we are aware of it and witness it with reverence. We hold it in our mind, and usually our heart.
I’ve noticed lately, when I sing Time Is On My Side, or I repeat several times in the day, “I have all the time in the world”, I actually do! Something I stumbled upon in hypnosis.
When I honored the time the client had with me, I was amazed at how much we could accomplish together! Time seemed to stand still and what felt like 3 hours together, was only 50 minutes!
Play with this today. Honor your time by being Mindful of it. Keep track of where your time goes and you’ll notice your thoughts and energy followed. You may find, it needs a little tweaking, like mine did. 😉
Enjoy today, and remember, Time IS on your side!
